Citation | Educated as an Engineer in the works of the late Sir W Fairbairn FRS under whose directon he was engaged in various researches published in the Trans RS particularly those on the collapse of tubes and the density of steam. In charge of Engineering workshops for 5 years. Then Instructor in Marine Engineering at Royal School of Naval Architecture, South Kensington & is now Professor of Mechanics & Hydraulic Engineering at the Royal Indian Engineering College.
