| Citation | Lecturer on Chemistry, Goldsmith's Institute. Distinguished on account of the breadth and exactness of his knowledge of organic chemistry, and of his skill and assiduity as a practical worker. Author of numerous communications to the Chemical Society, during the period 1893-1907, relating to derivatives of camphor and allied compounds, or involving the minute study and philosophical discussion of processes of chemical change.
