File of newletters entitled 'The Maggazette'. The Maggazette is a light-hearted newsletter published on board the M/V Magga Dan on its trip from England to Antarctica. The Magga Dan carried the expedition teams from the Royal Society Antarctic Expedition and from the Commonwealth Trans-Antarctic Expedition, as well as Danish crew.
The newsletters include quizzes, poems (largely about expedition crew members), announcements, statistics, and articles. Themes include the cultural differences between the English and Danish crew and the relationship between the Royal Society Antarctic Expedition and from the Commonwealth Trans-Antarctic Expedition. Some of the articles are in Danish.
Each newletter features hand-drawn illustrations, such as anchors, birds; ships; faces; wales; Christmas designs.
