DescriptionNotes and correspondence relating to finances for the North Borneo Expeditions. Large amount of correspondence dedicated to Royal Society attempts to account for and recover monies from Ganie Gilong, a local agent. A number of items relate to arranging insurance for the expedition members and the papers includes 22 personal accident travel insurance certificates. Papers also include notes from Corner authorising payments, correspondence with Crown Agents, Harrisons & Crosfields and correspondence concerning grant applications. The majority of the surviving financial papers in this file relate to the second of the North Borneo Expeditions in 1964.
