DescriptionA very extensive file that includes documentation relating to the role of the Crown Agents in the Brazilian expedition. This includes monthly statements and invoices of transactions made by the Crown Agents on behalf of the Society, from January 1967 until October 1968. There are a large number of records regarding shipping which was arranged though the Crown Agents [also see indents] and payments to Messrs. Wilson Sons & Co. who were used by the Crown Agents as their shipping agent and were responsible for cleaing stores through Brazilian customs.
