DescriptionHeaded 'An alphabetical list of the Royal Society', with the Royal Patron appearing as: 'His Sacred Majesty King George II. Patron', together with 'His Royal Highness the Prince', 'His Royal Highness Francis Duke of Lorrain', 'His most Serene Highness Francis Prince of Modena', and 'His most Serene Highness William Prince of Orange'. Consisting of an alphabetical record of all Fellows, in columns, with members of the aristocracy in upper case. The left hand column contains 'The Present Council', headed by the President, Sir Hans Sloane. The right hand column contains a list of 'Persons of Other Nations' [Foreign Members] but has been trimmed and lacks the brief notes on their locations. With notes on the continuation of Council until St Andrew's Day 1736 and the election of ten new Council Members on 30 November 1736 to serve in the ensuing year.
