The left hand column contains 'The Present Council', headed by the President, Sir Isaac Newton. The right hand column contains a list of 'Persons of Other Nations' [Foreign Members], and brief notes on their locations. With notes on the continuation of Council until 1722 and the election of ten new Council Members on 30 November 1722 to serve in the ensuing year.
The list has an original [?] blue paper wrapper, inscribed on the inner leaf: 'This list was presented to the Society by the President, the Rt: Hon: Sir Joseph Banks, Bart., Th.B. Re [?] Feby 7 1805'. |
