DescriptionLetter describes Hilpert leaving his post at the Brunswick Technical School in August 1939, departing for France and then giving France information on German Chemical manufacture. Brunswick Ministry of Education offered him his job back in April 1946, in combination with quashing the sentence of death passed on Hilpert during World War Two.
