Description | The correspondence with JR Park primarily relates to BOC's supply of gas to the Clarendon Laboratory. Simon queries the cost of BOC's supplies of oxygen and raises the issue of the gas being offered to the Clarendon at a preferential rate.
There are also papers on Simon requesting financial assistance for the 1951 Low Temperature Conference of the Union de Physique in Oxford and raising the issue of BOC making an increased contribution to research work at Universities. (In 1954 a Fellowship endowment scheme was instituted by the BOC).
