TitleLetter from Esther Simpson to Professor Simon
Date14/01/1952
DescriptionLetter on headed notepaper from Esther Simpson, Secretary to the Society for the Protection of Science and Learning, formerly Academic Assistance Council to Professor Simon at the Clarendon Laboratory, Parks Road, Oxford.
'Thank you for your letter of January 11th. I am afraid that we here have got no particulars about refugee professors who would be eligible for some sort of pension. However, there is a body dealing with all such matters and with which, I should think, most of the scholars concerned would be in touch, whatever their religion. It is the Legal Advice Department of the Association of Jewish Refugees, 8 Fairfax Mansions, London, N.W.3. The legal advisor is Dr. K. Friedlander. '
