DescriptionSimon had a long relationship with ICI. ICI provided the research grant which enabled Simon to move to the Clarendon Laboratory, Oxford University in 1933. The company also played a key role in the 'Tube Alloys' project during the Second World War. After the war, Simon referred to them during his research into Graphite Diamond conversion and on the matter of scholarships for students at the Clarendon Laboratory.
