'Heat Husbandry' - was the term Capps gave to his schemes for the better production and storage of heat and the greater use of wind power. He approached the ARC to help him develop his ideas.

Simon was contatced by Capps after reading Simon's article in the 'Financial Times' entitled 'Fuel Problems of the Future' and by the ARC to give his opinion on Capps's scheme.

File contains correspondence between the three parties, including Simon commenting on Capps's cost calculations and his technical expertise; Simon attending a meeting of the ARC to discuss Capps's scheme and the minutes of the resulting meeting.
