DescriptionThe Welch Lectures given by Dale at Mount Sinai Hospital, New York. Copy of Lecture I only, with correspondence re arrangements and publication. Whilst in America Dale accepted invitations to deliver the Harvey Lecture in New York, the Eastman Memorial Lecture at Rochester University, and a lecture on the Thayer Foundation at Johns Hopkins University. He also visited or spoke to the College of Physicians of Philadelphia, the Academy of Medicine in Washington, and the School of Medicine at Yale University. This file contains correspondence relating to these engagements, and to further invitations which Dale declined
