TitleCopy Dale to Professor A V Hill
Date16 January 1939
DescriptionRegrets that he cannot go to Berlin to lecture the Kaiser Wilhelm Gesellschaft owing to the pressure of other commitments. He appreciates that it must have been a difficult decision for Bragg and the Officers to accept the invitation, but feels that it is probably best to remain friendly with the one scientific organisation in Germany which is still theoretically independent. He also gives further details of Barger's sudden death and agrees to write an obituary notice
