DescriptionAsking if the first edition copy of Newton's 'Principia' which was to have been presented to the Soviet Academy of Science by Sir Henry Tizard on behalf of the Royal Society might be transmitted through the Foreign Office to Sir Archibald Clark Kerr, British Ambassador in Moscow, for him to present if it appears that Tizard's proposed visit will be delayed indefinitely. Also asking if the informal arrangement which the Society had with the late Sir Stephen Gaselee for sending communications to overseas academies through the Foreign Office will continue
