DescriptionIt is about a year since first talks about Fleming Memorial - comments on this - project now bears little resemblance to that which he joined and induced Oxford University to join - Chain alone is not involved in revising Appeal booklet - comments on this - advised President of Royal Society and others to back Appeal - now has grave doubts about project and may have to consider what action to take - comments on original aims of the appeal, which made special reference to Wright-Fleming Institute and to School of Pathology - Chain's views about aims of Fund represent major change in policy - at meeting on 3 December, Chain stated he was speaking for Neuberger and others - should not conceal claims of the two laboratories in appeal literature when they are mentioned in Trust Deed - Goodhart and Abraham agree with him.
