DescriptionThanks for copy of correspondence with Linstead - thinks negotiations with E B Chain should be done by Executive Committee of Fleming Memorial Appeal - has been at disadvantage in only having glimpses of what Chain wrote to Neuberger and said to Porritt - letters should be exchanged with Chain with authority of Executive Committee and with the concurrence of all - comments on this - he and Abraham are to see Goodhart, who feels he has been at a disadvantage in not knowing exactly what was happening with regard to Chain.
