DescriptionAutograph letter signed by sender. Describes the weather during the solar eclipse on the 15th, comments on the 'limbs' of the sun and moon, and the telescope he used for observations. The observation during the beginning of the eclipse were lost due to a delay in realisation the eclipse had begun. Remarks on the formation of the annules and there depletion, and the end of the eclipse. Informs during the eclipse a numberof observations were made of the transit of the sun and moon's limbs, and once these have been reduced the correction of the lunar table will given. Comments on the dimunation of daylight during the eclipse. Gives the computation of refractions of the meteorological instruments.
