DescriptionMacsween has put in for three months' leave and hopes to be at Mussoorie from the 15th, but he cannot be exact since he has not heard from the chief engineer. He asks if Herschel could put him up or offer advice in accomodation. He does not know where Herschel is, but will address the letter to Dehra. He remains on the sick list. He asks if Herschel is married. Westmoreland is now at Lahore in the office of the Controller of Accounts. Macsween intends to send up his servants and two ponies once he hears that his leave has been approved.
