DescriptionHerschel promised to give him the khubber [gossip] of the races but he did not send a line. He asks for an account of it. He got to Dehli and improved there, but the rail trip to Agra upset him again. He asks where Herschel is, and if he passes Wemyss's house to let him know how it is. He will rent it to Rochfort if he will give 80 rupees per month. He notes the billiard room across the street with excellent table and balls.
