DescriptionHe thanks Herschel for writing. The stewards at the Murat meeting have prevented Baumgarten's horses from running, 'I suppose his race is run' and Wemyss expresses pity for his wife. Wemyss wished he could sell his house and notes possible buyers. He asks about Campbell's whereabouts and notes his own poor health. He asks to be remembered to [Thomas Tupper] Carter and asks if Captain Caulfield, lost in 'The Persia' was the same related by marriage to Campbell's sister in law.
