Description | He thanks Herschel for his letter and for the sponge. He will set off around the 1st on boats but may have to wait at Burrisal as the country will be too wet to do anything. He received Gordon's card but has heard nothing of his movements. Perhaps he is on the steamer expected today or tomorrow. He has not heard fron the subaltern transferred from the Computing Office and asks if he has left Dehra yet. |
