DescriptionHe wonders if Herschel has tackled Mr Lambert of the Victoria Hotel yet. He had several items belonging to Murray: a suit of English horse clothing which Lambert sold but did not forward the money; and a racing snaffle with double reins and a martingale. He would like the bridle back but the martingale may be sold. He notes the bad news about Mrs Gordon, 'they say she has lost her sight and perhaps her mind'.
