| Description | It is still the 24th and it is a long time since Herschel has slept. He has nothing new to say but will be unable to post anything in the next three to four days. He received maps yesterday, and has studied them alongside others with the 'Postal Guide',and 'Bradshaw'. He sent for all he thought he would need two years ago, but had to send hastily for the two extra map sheets showing the border. He describes his route, entering British Berar. He has no time to write more, the temperature is over 105 degrees. He has been provided with a bottle of lime juice. At Badgoan he will be within three miles of a railway station.
