CreatorHerschel; Mary Cornwallis [formerly Power; née Lipscombe] (1829-1876)
Date21 December [1871]
DescriptionShe did not write yesterday and wonders if daily letters lengthen the months. She had a long drive yesterday, up the Kataghery Road to Willington, which she describes. She took Esther and horsekeepers and walked the last three-quarters of a mile home. Mrs Camille asks for the address of R Money Selby, suppose to be a friend of John's. Francis, who has no clothes there, has gone to Ootacamund. She wonders if he has met 'the pleasant good little Captain R.N.' [John Pearse Maclear].
