DescriptionHe sends observations on Europe which contain nothing to purpose, and the Code Napoleon which contains information on herds of cattle and the relationship between tenant and landlord. He discusses their respective rights, and compares them to ryotts in India, who he thinks have doubtful legal possession. He is sorry that Herschel's son is in such a 'nest of hornets'.
