| Description | Conveying the news that Emilia Stewart has given birth to a daughter [Isabella Robertson Stewart]. The child is well, although the mother is still weak. In a postscript, he asks if she would relay the news to Hugh Calder. He asks if the £2 2s she sent via Mr. Calder should be allocated to the London Missionary Society, as he cannot put together enough to support a teacher in India on the proposed plan. The London Society is deserving of support.
