1. 'Teichoic acids in bacterial coaggregation' in Microbiology volume 146; No.6; June 2000 (pp.1257-1258)
This article discusses the role of teichoic acids in the intergeneric and intrageneric bacterial coaggregation. Results show that lipoteichoic acid or wall teichoic acid mediate bacterial coaggregation possess alanine ester residues and are associated with divalent calcium.

Alumni article discussing how an unexpected observation made during a research investigation under Dr Alexander Todd at Cambridge University, provided Baddiley with an area of research that occupied him for fifty years of his career. The area of research was the role of nucleic acids (DNA and related RNA) within cell biochemistry and genetics.
Baddiley describes his experiences in various branches of science including chemistry, biochemistry, molecular biology and microbiology, and the discovery of the name 'teichoic'.
