DescriptionCorrespondence predominantly concerns a joint paper on dislocations in crystals and grain boundaries which Nye and Lomer were working on. Includes discussion of other scientists' work on the same topic, including W T Read, as well as the Parker and Washburn experiment. Also contains letters concerining requests for copies of photographs from Nye and Bragg's original bubble model paper. Several letters contain Lomer's feedback on another paper by Nye, reporting on plastic deformation of single crystals of aluminium through the use of electron diffraction Kikuchi lines.
