DescriptionConcerns an offer of a visiting professorship position for Nye at the California Institute of Technology in the spring of 1953. Nye declined the offer as he was returning to England, but the possiblitity of taking up the post later in 1953 was left open. Also contains some later 1957 correspondence regarding pipe experiments on Jungfraufirn, which Nye has re-analysed and written a paper on, as well as a pipe experiment undertaken by Bill Ward at Austerdalsbreen.
