Date | 27 September 1967 - 26 October 1976 |
Description | During the correspondence Dr Thomas worked at Tufts University School of Medicine and later the National Institute for Biological Standards and Control. The correspondence begins following Dr Thomas' sabbatical year in London and the first letters in the series refer to a joint paper by Thomas and Vane. Subsequent letters cover visits by Vane to Boston to advise on lab work and deliver talks to medical students and staff on his work (1967 - 1968). The later correspondence covers possible positions for Dr Thomas in the UK (1969), his return to the UK (1975) and correspondence with Vane about annotating his work for the Lancet. |
