Citation | Tattersall, Walter Medley (Cardiff). Professor of Zoology and Comparative Anatomy. Distinguished for his many valuable contributions to Marine Zoology, especially in the morphology, systematics and distributionof the Euphausicea, Mysidacea, Amphipoda and Isopoda. On these groups he is the recognized authority in this country and his work is widely appreciated abroad. He has added much to our knowledge of the development, habits and seasonal occurrences of Crustacea, has studied the metamorphoses of the larva of "Luidia" and was the first to discover the breeding habits and life-history of "Littorina".
