Description | Sending a copy of the amount of rainfall at Kendal [Cumbria] recorded by Samuel Marshall, who has tables for the last thirty years. Glyn asks that the copy of his report on draining marshland near Kendal is presented to the Royal Society. It may be interesting to see meteorological observations being made useful in everyday life.
