Description | Utting sends hourly observations taken on 22 March. He would like to know if his former observations were considered worthy by the Meteorological Committee [sections missing]. He apprehends his instruments are not sufficiently good. He notes Captain Onslow's appointment. He has found the geographical position of Markee in Ireland, the latitude of which he had from Johnson a year or two ago. He wishes Johnson health..

Meteorological observations made on 22 March 1841 [March equinox], commencing at 9.00am and ending at 9.00pm. Columns for the hour, barometer at Yarmouth uncorrected, attached thermometer, detached [external] thermometer, hygrometer, wind direction and general weather remarks.
