DescriptionTables of hourly thermometer readings [pp.53-173]; hourly barometer observations [pp.189-309]; and hourly observations of the wet bulb thermometer, with the calculated dew point and tension of vapour [pp.315-675]. The barometer values are initially headed with the pencil inscription 'Wrench's barometer' [pp.190-193]; but from June 1840 [pp.262-263] 'Newman's Portable Barometer No. 1st'.

No location or author attribution appears within the manuscript. There is a correction [p.139] signed by Edward Sabine.
