Creator | Caldecott; John (1800-1849); British astronomer |
Date | 1 August-30 September 1841 |
Description | Five sets of curves for [presumably mean] morning and afternoon readings of the thermometer and barometer in August and September; with tension of vapour; ratio to saturation; and direction and force of wind. Two curves for each subject. An explanatory note states that those in blue refer to August, those in red for September. From observations made at Trivandrum [Thiruvananthapuram], Kerala.
A pencil note verso [p.2] reads: 'These curves have been most vilely copied by our Assitant but there is no time for amendment as the post is going. J.C.' [John Caldecott].
