DescriptionHourly observations made at Trivandrum [Thiruvananthapuram], Kerala, of the declination, horizontal force, and vertical force magnetometers, commencing from 10.00p.m. on 23 March [Gottingen Mean Time] and continuing to 9.00p.m. on 24 March 1842. The horizontal and vertical force magnetometer readings are not on the usual printed form [p.2], but have been added to the end sheet [p.4]. With readings of the barometer and attached thermometer, dry and wet bulb thermometer, and computed dew point and tension of vapour [in the printed column for electrometer readings] over the same period. There are general remarks on the state of the weather.
