DescriptionMagnetic dip observations, nine in total, on the morning and afternoon of selected days of the month of May, with one additional observation from April. The observer is noted by initial as 'W' [Wilcox]. With observations taken with an 18-inch altitude and azimuth circle on 15 May, 'for determining the azimuth of the Declinometer Reading Telescope'. Also included [pp.2-3] 'Experiment of Vibration' and 'Experiment of Deflection', both made on 13 May 1844.
