| Description | Tables of daily observations made at the Royal Observatory [Tarewali Kothi] at Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh, generally at two hourly intervals. Commencing with readings from the declination magnetometer; and the horizontal force magnetometer and its thermometer. With readings from: an uncorrected barometer; its attached thermometer; dry and wet thermometers; standard thermometer; solar radiation; maximum and minimum temperature, with Moon's age; corrected barometer; and daily triple observations of magnetometers [excluding any vertical force magnetometer]. There are unused sheets for a vertical force magnetometer and attached thermometer [pp.4-5].
Observations of the declination magnetometer are interrupted for the period 21-22 June, a note stating that 'The suspension thread broke'.
