Description | Tables of magnetic declination and magnetic intensity, twelve observations per hour for each, made during twenty-four hour periods at the Brera Observatory in Milan on 18-19 January 1843 [pp.1-2]; and 24-25 February 1843 [pp5-6].
Both sets of observations were enclosed in the form of a letter communicated to the Royal Society by Francesco Carlini and endorsed as received on 9 March 1843, by Samuel Hunter Christie. Numbered 370 and 371. With lists of observers and participants, both signed by Robert Stambucchi and dated 20 January 1843 and 1 May 1843.
