TitleMeteorological observations at the Royal Society's apartments at Somerset House, London, by [Stephen Lee?]
CreatorLee; Stephen (d.1835); British librarian and assistant secretary to the Royal Society
The Royal Society (founded 1660)
Date1 January-31 December 1823
DescriptionDaily meteorological observations made at Somerset House: four readings per day, at 8.00am, 9.00am, 2.00pm and 3.00pm. Columns for date and times of observations, corrected barometer, thermometer [blank], Daniell's hygrometer, Kater's hygrometer [blank], Six's thermometer, wind direction and strength, and general weather remarks.

Apparently a fair copy of selected data from MA/322/1-3. Since this copy has the 8.00am and 2.00pm observations scored through, and lacks the readings from Kater's hygrometer in favour of Daniell's instrument, this most resembles the final version printed as 'Meteorological Journal, kept at the apartments of the Royal Society, by order of the President and Council', Philosophical Transactions of the Royal Society, v.114 (1824), pp.1-26 [additional].
