Description | Observations of magnetic dip made using Lloyd's needles nos. A1 and A2 at the 'Shed near Observatory'. Morning and afternoon records of a single day's work commncing with needle position: face from limb, and with limb, and lower and upper end; columns for poles direct and poles reversed. Interspersed with observations from the same dates, reverse and direct observations, with columns for 'marked end North' and 'marked end South'.
