DescriptionMonthly means of observations from readings at 9.30a.m., and 3.30p.m., made at Colaba Observatory. Columns for barometer results, mean temperatures, mean temperature at dew point, mean elastic force of vapour, mean humidity of air, weights of vapour, mean wind pressure, cloud, temperature in the Sun, temperature on the grass, temperature of the air, temperature of evaporation, maximumm pressure of wind, and rainfall. With a secondary table on wind directions and rainfall.

Headed: 'Table shewing the Annual and monthly mean Results of the several observations taken at the Observatory at Bombay during the year of 1858'. Below, 'Deduced at the Meteorological Observatory at Bombay by Govind Ramchnuder and Hurry Chintamun', and signed by E.F.T. Fergusson as Superintendent of the Government Observatory.
