Headed [p.1]: 'Mean Time of High and Low Water &c. Derived from Tidal Curves. Registered at Penang From 20th June to 16th October 1843'. Signed [p.7]: 'T.G. Taylor U.C. Astr.' and inscribed by him: 'The above observations are made by two Native Assistants (Soobia and De Cruz) under the superintendance of Captain Gottlieb (the Master Attendant)'. Also inscribed [p.8]: 'Tidal Observations Penang June to Octr. 1843'.
