Title | Letter from John Horsley, Morpeth, to [James Jurin] |
Creator | Horsley; John (1685-1732); British natural philosopher and antiquarian |
Recipient | Jurin; James (bap.1684 d.1750); British physician and natural philosopher |
Date | 9 February 1727 |
Description | He had sent a [meteorological] register for last year. His absence from home has led to a little irregularity, but nothing material. The copying was done by a schoolmaster, very awkwardly, but it is too late to have a better transcription made. Horsley draws attention to the quantity of rainfall. |
