DescriptionResponding to a letter from The Royal Society, dated 29 April, in relation to the printing of Eclipse reports, following a Royal Astronomical Society Council meeting to discuss the matter. The Council are pleased that the suggestions made by The Royal Socierty will enable access to the reports, to astronomers, for a smaller cost to the Royal Astronomical Society. Outlines suggestions made by Council in relation to the most effifient methods of printing and circulating published material. Regarding final reports, Council prefers for the copies of the Philosophical Transactions to be distributed to all fellows of the Royal Astronomical Society, including observatories, institutions, and individuals to whom Royal Astronomical Society memoirs are resented, and who do not receive copies of the Philosophical Transactions from the Royal Society.
