DescriptionInforms the 'Cartelled' Academies, namely Leipzig, Munich, and Vienna, confirm assent to the establishment of an International Association of learned bodies and will establish contact with Paris, Petersburg, and Lincei Academies to extend the invitation. Requests for the Royal Society to forward early information and outcomes of preliminary negotiations, to the 1898 Directors of the Cartell. Informs that the Cartell for the year 1899 will be presided over by the Royal Academy of Sciences at Munich.
