Regarding negotiations relating to the Association of Academies. Reports he has been in contact with Professor Klein and is aware of the news of the Lincei wishing to join. Informs that he has written to a member of the Berlin Academy and hopes to receive from them favourable news, which he will communicate to Rpoyal Society as soon as possible. Proposes a meeting in summer or autumn to make it possible to realise the Royal Society's suggestion of a first meeting to be held in Paris in 1900.
