Description | Informs the proofs sent to 49 Long Acre will be forwarded every Saturday and that he will forward a paper and hopes it will be regarded worthy of communicating to the Royal Society at their first meeting. Has sent 'Catalogue of Comets' to the Royal Society but has not been told whether it was received. Since sending it, has discovered a short essay by the recipent of the letter, on comets. Requests for several papers by Sir [William] Herschel to be sent to him as he wishes to study them prior to submitting his paper to The Royal Society. |
