DescriptionWriting on behalf of the commissioners appointed under the Public Schools Act of 1868 and conveying the enclosed copies [enclosures not present] of statutes related to the governance of Eton School and Westminster School. These statutes, which have been approved by both the commissioners and the Queen in council, grant the Royal Society the authority to appoint one member to the governing body of each of these schools.
